Language is all about the world around us, the people, the animals, and the objects. Building your language skills in the beginning is all about the vocabulary for these everyday objects. Here’s ten words to keep going with: Mother, Father, Boy, Girl, Kookaburra, Ant, Head, Leg, Bird, Kangaroo.

  • Maintaining a growing vocabulary is all about regular use!
  • Words like mother or father are useful as references or names, like Mum and Dad.
  • “Can you hear that kakawan?” - They often laugh.
