We all have to start somewhere on our language journey, but with so many words, phrases and sentences in a language, where do we begin? Well, let’s start with three simple words: Hello, Good and Country.

Tips and Tricks

  • Greet your children/students/friends/family daily with a friendly Galang Djanan
  • Ask them “Are you galang?”, or a simple “Galang?” with a thumbs up
  • Use Djagun when you speak of Country, i.e. Wakka Wakka Djagun
